1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Fork Yeah ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Forker," or "you") and Fork Yeah! ("we," "us," or "our").
2. Description of Service
Fork Yeah is a restaurant discovery application that enables users to: discover nearby restaurants through a swipe-based browsing interface; rate restaurants using a three-tier system (Fork Yeah, Meh, Fork No); maintain a personal Fork List of saved and rated restaurants; participate in group voting sessions to collectively decide where to eat; view saved restaurants on an interactive map. Restaurant information (names, addresses, photos, ratings, hours of operation) is sourced from the Google Places API and other third-party data providers.
3. Account Registration
To use Fork Yeah, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You agree to: provide accurate and complete registration information; maintain the security of your password; accept responsibility for all activity under your account; be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). You may not create accounts for others without their permission or use another person's account.
4. User Conduct
As a Forker, you agree not to: use the App for any unlawful purpose; create offensive, misleading, or inappropriate display names or group names; abuse the group voting system (e.g., creating excessive voting sessions to manipulate results); attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the App's functionality; impersonate other users or entities; share your account credentials with others; use automated means to interact with the App. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Intellectual Property
The Fork Yeah name, logo, visual design, user interface, and original content are the intellectual property of [Company Name]. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our written permission. Your content (ratings, notes, group names) remains yours, but you grant us a license to store and display it as necessary to provide the service.
6. Third-Party Content
Restaurant information displayed in Fork Yeah—including names, addresses, photos, ratings, hours of operation, and menu data—is sourced from the Google Places API and is the property of Google and/or the respective restaurant establishments. Fork Yeah does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this information. Restaurant hours may change, locations may close, and ratings may not reflect your personal experience. Always verify critical information (especially hours and location) directly with the restaurant before visiting. Fork Yeah is not responsible for any inconvenience caused by inaccurate third-party data.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
FORK YEAH IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that: the App will be available at all times without interruption; the restaurant information will be accurate or up-to-date; the App will meet your specific requirements; any errors or defects will be corrected. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Company Name] shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from: your use of or inability to use the App; any inaccurate restaurant information; decisions made based on group voting results; unauthorized access to your account; any other matter relating to the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is $0, as Fork Yeah is free).
9. Termination
You may stop using Fork Yeah at any time by deleting your account within the App or by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination: your access to the App will cease; your locally stored data may remain on your device until you uninstall; your cloud-synced data will be deleted within [timeframe]; group memberships will be removed.
10. Governing Law
